Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 September 2026

This application is a self-hosted personal assistant operated by a single individual for their own private use. These terms govern that owner's use of the application. There is only one user: the owner and operator, who is also the person whose data it reads. The application is not offered to, sold to, or made available to any other person.

1. Acceptance of terms

By running and using the application, the owner agrees to these terms. If the owner does not agree, they should not run the application and should revoke any access it was granted.

2. What the application does

The application requests read-only access to the owner's own Google account:

These are read-only scopes. The application cannot send, modify, label, move, or delete any email or calendar entry, and it never attempts to.

3. Permitted use

The application is a private tool for its owner's personal, non-commercial use. The owner may use it only to access their own Google account data. The application must not be used to access anyone else's data, and it is not designed or licensed for use by anyone other than its owner.

4. No warranty

The application is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The owner uses the application at their own risk. Summaries and information the application produces may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the application. Because the operator and the sole user are the same person, this application carries no obligation to any third party.

6. Google user data

The application's access to and use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data read from Gmail and Calendar is used only to serve the owner and is never sold, shared, or transferred to any third party. Details are in the privacy policy.

7. Revoking access and termination

The owner can revoke the application's access at any time from the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and can stop using the application at any time. Once access is revoked, the application can no longer read any Gmail or Calendar data.

8. Changes to these terms

If the terms change, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the application after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to belatothpal2@gmail.com.
